Shaking
Faking

A family weeps
A star dims
The family arrives
To say good byes

How can a day like this
Be a day like this?

What’s the duty of brothers?
When Eid becomes Karbala

When hugs of happiness
Become hugs of goodbye

When our dear nightingale
Himself becomes a star in the night’s tale?

When the One who loves
Calls his beloved back
So He can embrace him on Eid
All for himself
